The Man Behind Udaya Time Centre
Ulivappa Puttappa Kerudi, a 1974 graduate in Horological Engineering, began his career with HMT (Hindustan Machine Tools), where he honed his expertise in precision timekeeping. After years of dedicated service, he opted for voluntary retirement in 1980 to pursue his passion independently. The same year, he established Udaya Time Centre at Majestic, Bangalore—a humble beginning that has since grown into a trusted name in watch and clock servicing for over four decades. His vision and craftsmanship laid the strong foundation on which the brand proudly stands today.
